Sudha Shivpuri, who shot to fame with her character as ‘Baa’ from the TV serialv‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ passedvaway this morning. Mushtaq Sheikh & Alok Nath confirmed the news on a micro-blogging site.
Mushtaq Sheikh wrote, “Mrs Sudha
Shivpuri (wife of Om Shivpuri) also
popularly known as Baa in Kyun Ki passed away this morning. May her soul rest invpeace. #RIP” “Sudha Shivpuri popularly known as Baa from Kyun Ki passed away this morning.
Funeral at Oshiwara Crematorium 2.30 pm today. #RIP,” he added.
Alok Nath wrote, “Rest in eternal peace Sudha Shivpuri maam. You and Om Shivpuri sir were teacher's & guides of great proportion.am blessed to be your student.”
Sudha started her Bollywood career with SWAMI (1977), & worked in other movies like INSAAF KA TARAZU, PAYAL KI JHANKAAR, HAMARI BAHU ALKA, MAYA MEMSAAB, PINJAR & also the Hollywood movie OUTSOURCED.
May her soul Rest in Peace.
